?Residence Erasmo? was inaugurated in 2004 and have a capacity for 424 people. Many students live and study here (from September to June) but we also offer rooms for daily stays, long stays, groups and general public. Our residence is open along the whole year and is well located.

Rooms:
-We offer single rooms, single rooms and share kitchen and twins. All rooms are ensuite and have central heating/air conditioning, Internet and TV arial, desk, shelf with board, fridge and microwave in all the ones that do not have a kitchen plus landline in all of them. Our rooms are also wheelchair accessible.

-Single rooms, they are all ensuite and allows you to enjoy the maximum independence in the Residence; it contains a study area.

-Single rooms with share kitchen, they are two private single ensuite rooms communicated by a share but independent kitchen. It is an ideal place to make a nice cup of coffee and share nice moments with your mate.

-Twin rooms, for those who like sharing everything and like to have company we offer this particular room with a share bathroom (only for two people)

Kitchen:
You have utensils to clean, clothes folder, electric cooker, and fridge; we also offer the possibility of buying all the utensils to cook/eat from us.

Directions

From Barajas Aiport:

?Erasmo Residence? is in Campus de Cantoblanco, 15 Km away from the north capital which is really well connected by train and bus.

From The Airport:

The first option is to take a taxi that takes you directly here and that it costs about 30 Euros.

For the ones that have a low budget is better to take the metro (underground) that can be taking from any Terminal. Line 8 will take you to ?Nuevos Ministerios Station? (it costs 2 Euros, including the supplement of the Airport).

Once you are there, you need to take the train (line C1, C7 or C10) until Castoblanco-Universidad Station (the cost is 1.10 euros)

By bus:

There are a few buses that reach the campus, no 714 (Plaza de Castilla-Cantoblanco), 827 (Canillejas-Alcobendas-Cantoblanco-Tres Cantos), 827A (San Sebastián de los Reyes-Alcobendas-Cantoblanco) and 828 (Campo de las Naciones-Alcobendas-Cantoblanco). All buses stop in front of ?Rectorado? which is a building that is in the centre of Kant Street. From there, the easiest way is to get to Calle de Freíd and carry on until the end of it. At this end you will see the last perpendicular street that crosses it, that is Calle Erasmo de Rótterdam and if you turn right you will find the residence at 100 meters.

By train:

In ?Campus de la UAM? there is a station called ?Cantoblanco-Universidad?, lines C1, C7 and C10 will pass by and stop. The station is located in the middle of ?Calle de Freud?, so, as soon as you exit you need to turn right and carry on until the end of it. There, you will find Calle Erasmos de Rótterdam, turn right and you will see the residence about 100 meters away.
