Welcome to Camping Village Il Poggetto.
Il Poggetto is a holiday park in the bed of Tuscany, situated 15 km southeast from Florence in the middle of green hills, wine and olive yards, in the famous Chianti Territory.
Florence, the capitol of Arts, is easy to reach by bus. The bus stop is only a 50 meters walk away from the camping.
For those who love shopping, only 6 km away, there is a brand new outlet centre (THE MALL), where you can find Valentino, Gucci, Armani, YSL, Dolce & Gabbana and many more.
After a day of shopping, you can take a break in our pool (included in the price). Enjoy our country life by riding a horseback through the Tuscan hills or taste wine at the Chianti bodega nearby!
At the end of your day, do not forget to visit our famous restaurant. A perfect place to fill your belly with a great plate of pasta or pizza and a good Chianti wine.
Our nice staff will be glad to help you plan your holiday, by giving you all the information you need about Florence, the Chianti region and also about nice camping in Siena, Pisa, Rome and Venice .

Check-in time from 3.00 pm until 21.00 hours, after this time the reception is closed.
For cancellations or modifications, you have to inform us 24 hours before the date of your arrival. Otherwise, one night will be charged. In addition, during your check-in it is obligatory to pay the full balance of your reservation, even if you decide to stay less nights than what you have booked.

How to find us if you arrive in Florence by bus or by train:
BY BUS
(stops right in front of the camping): At Central Station SMN, go out of the building towards Piazza Stazione. On the other side of the square is an alley coming out (on your right) named Via S. Caterina da Siena, located the Sita Bus Company. Go to gate N° 10 and ask for the bus direction San Donato in Collina / Incisa and ask the bus driver to stop in front of the camping, after the village Cellai.
LAST BUS 21,00 HOURS.
ON SUNDAY LAST BUS 19,35 HOURS, INSIDE THE BUILDING.
BY TRAIN:
from the central station SMN in Florence take the regional train direction AREZZO. Exit at RIGNANO SULL'ARNO (about 30 minutes). Last train is departing 21.35 hours and has number 1683. Distance Rignano - camping 6 km, call the reception for a PICK-UP (important before 21.00 hours). Price pick-up: for who arrives before 21.30 hours at Rignano: ? 6,00 a person.
By Car: take the motorway A1 direction Rome, exit in Incisa Valdarno, turn to the right direction Florence (SS 69), and after 4 km to the left, following "PIAN DELL 'ISOLA. At the end of the street again left and continue until you arrive at Burchio. Turn right and after the village Le Valli (circa 5 km) , the camping is on the left. GPS Coordinates: Lat.
