Our hostel, located on 14th street and 2nd avenue in Manhattan?s historic East Village, is one of the cities best kept secrets. Feel what has been called the last real neighborhood of neighborhoods speak in whispers about the past artistic glories of beatniks and hippies, under ground film and antiwar rallies.

The active traveler is able to live and breathe New York from our roof top terrace, watch the ebb and flow below them, listen to the roar of this the greatest American city go about its daily routine. We offer a comfortable place to rest ones head and conversation with people from around the world while you focus on experiencing New York to the fullest.

Close To Midtown and Downtown, you can walk to half a dozen parks, NYU, The Flat Iron District, Off-Broadway and Broadway shows, the West Village, and hundreds of restaurants, bars, and boutique shopping for which the East Village is famous for.

The decor of the hostel has a strong bohemian influence with vivid earth tones and a simplistic functional design. Each guest room is thoughtfully equipped with its own private bathroom, a small convenience to make your stay more comfortable and enjoyable.

You must be 18 years of age to check in, if under, you must be accompanied by an adult and have a consent stating your guardians are aware of where you are staying.
***Price does not include tax! You will be charged tax upon arrival - in NY tax is 13.375%.
***Cancellations or changes must be notified to the hostel at least 48 hours in advance via phone or email. In case of a 'NO SHOW,' a total of one night will be charged.

Directions

Directions From JFK Airport:

1) Take the free Long Term Parking Bus from any terminal to the subway platform. (Or take the $5 air-train)
2) Enter the "A" train going to Manhattan.
3) Transfer from the "A" train to "L" train at the Broadway Junction Station.
4) Take the ?L? train to 1st Avenue stop.
5) Walk one block West to 2nd Avenue.

From La Guardia Airport:

1) Take the M60 Bus to Astoria Blvd.
2) Take the ?N? train to Union Square stop.
3) Transfer from the ?N? train to the ?L? train to the 1st Avenue stop.
4) Walk one block West to 2nd Avenue.

From Newark Airport:

1) Take the $10 Olympia Bus or $9 NJ Transit bus to Grand Central Station.
2) Take the ?4? train to Union Square (14th street) stop.
3) Transfer from the ?4? train to the ?L? train to the 3rd Avenue stop.
4) Walk one block east to 2nd Avenue.
