Jazz on Lenox Hostel is one of our newest hostels, built into a classic Victorian-style brownstone that has been fully renovated for your comfort.

Our Lenox Avenue hostel is also very close to the bustling 125th street shopping district in Upper Manhattan, and is surrounded by many landmarks, including the world-famous Apollo Theatre, Columbia University, the Black Fashion Museum, the Studio Museum, the Lenox Lounge, the world-renowned Cotton Club, and The Duke Ellington Statue, and the Malcolm Shabazz Market.

Jazz on Lenox Hostel offers a range of rooms, from 4 to 12-bedded dorms to twin and double private rooms. The hostel has a backyard and a separate, secure luggage room, a lounge w/ plasma TV, a kitchen with stove/oven & microwave, vending machines, lockers and safe-deposit boxes that can be rented, 24-hour reception desk, and a friendly multi-lingual staff to make sure you enjoy your stay.

The 10% deposit is per night?s accommodation that is non-refundable. Please note that any cancellations must be notified directly to the hostel 24 hours in advance, otherwise your card will be charged for the first night as a 'NO SHOW'

Directions

We are located on 128th Street and Lenox Avenue.

From JFK airport:
1) Take the Air train (5 USD) from the airport
2) Take the "A" train going uptown to Manhattan.
3) Transfer from the "A" train to the "2 or 3" train at the Fulton street / Broadway Nassau.
4) Take the "2 /3" train going Uptown and get off at 125th Street.
5) On 125th Street walk west to 128th Street.

From La Guardia Airport:
1) Take the M60 bus to 125th Street, Walk to 128th Street

From Newark Airport:

1) If you are arriving at terminal A, B or C Take the $10-13 USD bus. If you are arriving on the north terminal, take the $9 USD NJ transit bus to train no. 2 or 3.
2) Take the 2 or 3 train, get off at 125th Street Station.
3) Walk to 128th Street

You can also take a $17 USD shuttle bus from any airport direct to Jazz on Lenox.
