The hotel is found in Via dei Coronari, one of the oldest streets of Rome. In the 300s, many pilgrims passed on this street on the way to S. Peters and the street was called the Via Recta. The area was always a tourist attraction because it is in such a central position near the Vatican and Piazza Novara.
